The Beard Family is a proud military family of passionate divers. Josh, an active‑duty Master Chief Hospital Corpsman, Navy master training specialist , Navy Afloaf training specialst and a PADI Master Instructor. Janice, a 24 year retired Chief Hospital Corpsman and PADI Master Scuba Diver is Black beard Scuba LLC amazing manager, together with their team they bring unmatched experience and dedication to the BlackBeard Scuba community.
Their two children share the same love for the ocean. Aidan, a current PADI Divemaster, is following in the family’s fin‑kicks, while Alana, the resident “mermaid,” brings pure joy and enthusiasm to anything involving water.

For local dive adventures, we charter exclusively with Nautical Divers, operating aboard the beautiful R/V Explorer—one of Florida’s premier dive vessels. Their experienced crew and top‑tier operations ensure every trip is smooth, safe, and unforgettable.
Every BlackBeard Scuba instructor and divemaster is fully covered under DAN Group Liability insurance for all confined‑water and open‑water training, giving you complete peace of mind as you learn and explore.
