Our Mission
At BlackBeard Scuba, we are dedicated to providing the best scuba experience to our customers by offering a variety of PADI certifications. Our mission is to make sure that our clients feel safe and comfortable while exploring the underwater world. Through PADI, the world's leading scuba diver training organization, we drive towards our collective vision to achieve balance between humanity and the ocean!
Our Team
The Beard Family is a Military family of divers!! Josh is an active-duty Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman and a PADI Master Instructor. Janice is a Chief Hospital Corpsman and a PADI Master Scuba Diver. Between the two, they have 14 deployments with Marines, on Destroyers, on Cruisers, and with SEAL Teams totaling over 3 years of combined combat deployments. They have two children Aidan, a current PADI Divemaster, and Alana, the Mermaid of the house, who loves anything to do with water!
Our Services
We offer a wide range of PADI certifications and services, including training courses, guided dives, and more. Our services are designed to meet the needs of divers of all levels, from beginners to advanced divers, and PADI professional level certifications!
Students do not have to buy anything! We supply masks, fins, and snorkel...saving you $hundreds in cost !!
Of course, all BlackBeard Scuba PADI Pros have covered under DAN Group Liability insurance at all confined and open water training!!
